Can you build systems our kids will actually use?
Yes. The trick is designing for the kid you have, not the kid in the container-store ad. Open bins, picture labels for the little ones, one-step put-away for everybody. If tidying takes more moves than getting the toy out, no child on earth is doing it; we make it easier to put away than to leave out.
